Well it might be a sign of old age – but I couldn’t survive without one of these. It is a notebook – moleskin is the trade name. Unlined and small enough to drop into a pocket. Unlined with a band that keeps it together. It also has a useful pocket in the back for bits of paper and a small map.
It has become my faithful friend! I scribble names and directions and telephone numbers. Lists of things that need doing and bits of information that need hanging onto.
But here is the best bit. Having this sabbatical space means that a thoughts occur that I can record – connections – things to worry or pray about – memorable pictures to follow up – books – writers – web pages – they all are recorded!! Get yourself a notebook and see how the pages fill up!!
