Man cannot live by packing boxes alone! And the trouble with lists is that every time one item gets knocked off another two take their place….. so after some shopping for a lunch party I went to the cinema! And here is a tip – turn up and take your chance! If you have some space then attack the pick n mix counter and delight in those strange cloured shapes of colour…. midget gems are my favourite …. but the hard ones and no the soft ones… anyway – the film – The Young Victoria.

The Young Victoria is a 2009 British costume drama film based on the young life of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom. It stars Emily Blunt, Miranda Richardson  and Jim Broadbent. The film is produced by Graham King.

The film follows on the life of the young Queen Victoria, focusing on her early reign and romance with Prince Albert.

Not my first choice but it was fun – well shot and acted – and a heart warming love story….
